Montgó

The Montgó peninsula separates the Gulf of Roses from the Cala Montgó. On top of the hill is the Torre de Montgó, once the only building on this headland. The tower, like many other towers, served as a lookout post. In the event of imminent danger, a fire was lit to warn others.
